A partnership of greatness!!!!!!!

Hello all I have been gone for awhile. I choose to drop as a Stampin' Up Demo for personal reasons. I decided to join again April 1st and I am so glad I did. There are so many great things going on. The 1st thing I want to share is the partnership between Stampin' Up and Project Life.

What the partnership means

We are so so so excited to let you know we've partnered with the amazing Becky Higgins to bring you the real deal-authentic Project Life products, now in exclusive Stampin' Up! colors and designs. If you've somehow missed the Project Life craze and are wondering what it's all about, we'll fill you in: it's a super simple, totally affordable way to get your photos into albums: you just slip your photos into Photo Pocket Pages and add designed cards. It's a back-to-basics approach to documenting your life. In a nutshell, it's all about spending more time making memories and less time scrapbooking them.

How to order

As a demonstrator, you'll be able to preorder a limited selection of Project Life products starting April 21, If you are not a demo join on or after April 21st and add Project Life to you starter kit {pay $99 for $125 worth of product}.Customers will be able to order that same selection of products starting May 1. And with the launch of our new annual catalog on June 2, you'll be able to buy from our complete line of Project Life products!

questions. answers.

Q: What types of Project Life products will Stampin’ Up! offer?

A: You’ll see Card Collections, Accessory Packs, Albums, Photo Pocket Pages, tools, other accessories, and Stamps, of course!

Q: Are the card designs the same as what we can buy in the stores?

A: Nope! We have worked with Stampin’ Up! to design all new products that are super fun and a perfect match to their existing color lines which will make coordination a breeze. Some of the Photo Pocket Page designs are the same and some are different than what we currently offer.

Q: How do I buy these products?

A: Beginning May 1st, you can purchase products directly through my online store

Q: Why order through a demonstrator?

A: Stampin’ Up! has a worldwide demonstrator base who understand their products better than anyone. Many offer in-home workshops, online parties, and local events (depending on the demonstrator and the area). The personal expertise and service make purchasing through a demonstrator a wonderful and unique experience and can also form great friendships!

Q: Where do I learn about becoming a demonstrator?

A: Visit the my Stampin’ Up! website to learn more.

Q: How do I sign up to become a demonstrator so I can sell Project Life myself and make money doing it?

A: Once you've decided that this is a great opportunity for you, you can sign up here

Q: Are the products packaged the same as existing products (i.e. Core Kits, Mini Kits, etc.)?

A: Most Project Life by Stampin’ Up! products will be sold in Card Collections of 100 cards with 4×6, 4×4, and 3×4 card sizes included. Each card will be printed front + back as all of our current products, but you will not receive duplicates of any cards in the set. Oh – And we’re doing square (not rounded) corners on all of our cards with Stampin’ Up! Yes, there’s an awesome corner rounder punch included in the product line-up if that floats your boat. There will also be Accessory Packs available (sold separately) that will contain a variety of accessories to complement the Card Collection.

Q: When will the products be available?

A: Products will be available for customers to order beginning May 1st (just 15 days from the time of this announcement)! Watch for product images and more information coming soon.

Q: Will the Project Life by Stampin’ Up! products be available in digital format?

A: They sure will! Stay tuned for more information on when those will become available.

As with any new product lunch there will be more questions please be sure to contact me for any information about this and any other Stampin' Up products creativevon@yahoo.com

Die cut tip

Have you ever used a die cut and notice it did not make a neat cut or the cut is not deep enough.I hope you can see the difference. Below is a tip that I hope will be helpful...

Top note before tape

If you can see it . At the top left  the paper did not cut smooth and the lines are not deep

Tape added
Notice the smooth cut and deep lines.

When cutting multiply sheets of paper having the tape on the Die cut will stop paper from getting  stuck on the die.

Shavon Borders:START HERE
Meka Matthews: NEXT STOP

My name is Shavon "Scrappinvon" DT Lead. I am so excited to be in the crafting company of such talented ladies. . I am married with 3 kids 2 young men and a little lady 15, 11 and 9. I love spending time with them exploring the great outdoors, discovering the towns and states around us and watching our kids as the find themselves through all their extra-curricular activities. The best part of it all is making scrapbook albums to persevere those moments. I have been crafting for 2 yrs and have jumped in hands 1st. I decided I was ready and have been running with scissors ever since. We are to create a ATC showing who I am. A new project and some of my favorites

We has to make a ATC showing who we are.  I love flowers(can't grow one) and butterflies. They come in many forms and colors. Just like a creative canvas when crafting

What is your scrapbook "kryptonite"? (What style/color/etc. will people never see on your creations because you cannot deal with it???)  I am going to say sewing, I hate to sew and can not see myself using sewing on a layout or card. I will never use a Digi or stamp of a person face without facial features  (the eyes, mouth, etc.)
A face with no character is so weird to me.
This is card was  made at TaDa! Tuesday. The best night of the week when I get together with my fellow SU Demos.

What do you listen to or watch while your scrap and WHY?  I listen to autobooks because it gives me the chance to combine my 2 favorite hobbies and puts me in the zone.
My 1st favorite  is  this layout  of my husband and son sliding into a waterfall.  We had a great time hiking to different waterfalls
How do you jump start your creativity when you find that it is missing?   I use social media, you tube, pintrest, Facebook and stampin' connection.
My next favorite is this card made with MDS 2

At what time of day are you most creative, or do you prefer to create? When ever I have free time, but I craft best at night.
My last favorite is my 1st male card

What is your favorite technique(s) to use right now and why? What are some tried and true techniques you love to use? My two favorite techniques are inking and embossing. I like to ink the embossing folder before adding the paper.

I hope you enjoyed learning about me as much as I did? Up next is the Purple Queen  Meka Matthews you will see what I mean.

HAPPY HOPPING!!!
